About Petunia
Petunia is a dark comedy about Buddy, an old guy who's been beaten down by life and his overbearing wife, Petunia. He’s all but given up, that is, until Petunia suddenly drops dead. Finally free, Buddy dives into a life of indulgence and chaos, but things take a strange turn when two quirky detectives show up at Buddy’s house telling him that Petunia was poisoned with a rare flower called Amore Amaro, aka "Bitter Love." To make things even stranger, that same flower is now growing on her grave.
Now, with this mysterious flower in his life, Buddy can’t shake the feeling that his wife might not be as gone as he thought.
As Buddy unravels, he enlists his son Ralph and pregnant daughter-in-law Becky in a desperate attempt to rid himself of the cursed flower. But as Buddy's journey unfolds, he discovers a side of Petunia he never knew and that the biggest thing holding him back in life was himself.
